Action note: In: Summary: ABSTRACT: This study aimed to find out the dynamics between the profiles of the respondents to one's sexual orientation and interpersonal family relationship. A total of 255 respondents were acquired during the study mostly students from schools located in the Intramuros, Manila. Sexual orientation was measured using the standardized test Kinsey Sexual Orientation Scale while their level of interpersonal family relationships was measured using the researcher's self-made instrument IFRS validated by three experts. The Interpersonal Family Relationship Scale was also used in measuring respondent's interpersonal family relationships its level, significance and difference. Demographic data such as sexual orientation, ordinal position, and number of siblings in the family, number of male and female siblings was obtained by incorporating the items in the consolidated questionnaires used in the study. The result of this study concluded that: first, there was a significant correlation between type of sexual orientation and level of interpersonal relationship under the component of mother relationship. Secondly, there was a significant difference in the level of interpersonal relationship when group according to: sexual orientation under general, mother and father. Thirdly, there was a significant difference between interpersonal relationship and number of siblings, number of male and female siblings all under the component of siblings. Based on the data gathered and interviews made a proposed clinical intervention program was designed. It was also recommended that further research be conducted to strengthen empirical evidence on the relevance of family interpersonal relationship and one's sexual orientation, by investigating other relevant factors.
