ABSTRACT: This study was conducted in order to identify the relationship of job involvement to the job description of the employees; the level of job involvement and job description awareness; and the perception towards their human resource management programs and policies. One hundred fifty (150) participants were selected in Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG) head office. Random sampling technique was employed in choosing the employees. Three instruments were administered to the selected employees and presented in a five-point Likert scale. Point-Biserial Correlation and Pearson Product Moment Correlation respectively. Finding revealed that high levels of job involvement, job description awareness and perceived efficiency of human resource policies and programs were found among the participants. Furthermore, there was no significant relationship between job involvement and job description to the current position of an employee. However, there was a significant relationship between job involvement and job description of the employees of Home Development Mutual Fund. Thus, it can be concluded that job involvement directly affects the job description awareness of the employees. The employees' job involvement is influenced by their awareness of their job description. Therefore, it can be recommended that job description may be revised from time as the need arises and to develop a program that will reinforce employee's job involvement.
