Contributor(s): A typical successful entrepreneur from Batangas Province generally came from a family who is engaged in business undertaking (self-employed), middle born, a married individual with at least 2-4 children, below 39 years of age, a non-college degree holder, a proprietor of trading business with at least less than a year experience in the chosen business. Has been in business for 5 to 10 years with an initial investment ranging between P20,000.00-P100,000.00 from personal assets and savings. He/ she belongs to the small-scale industry with an estimated annual gross sales from P100,000 to P1 million, and owning an estimated business assets ranging from P50,000.00 to .5 million. 3 | A typical successful entrepreneur in Batangas Province possessed the noteworthy traits of Filipino entrepreneurs as stated in the findings of Ongkingco on the attributes of owners-managers of drugstore in Manila. Thus, it is not hard for him to be successful most especially with their strong motivation (economic-reason) that propels him to survive and prosper in their endeavor. Economic reason means so much to him that he persevere, persist and work hard to perform his roles well leading to entrepreneurial success. 4

From the population of 1,481 entrepreneurs of SMBs, a stratified random sampling of 25% or 372 entrepreneurs were selected. ABSTRACT: This research was aimed at establishing a model of a successful Batangueño Entrepreneur. The researcher analyzed the profile of successful entrepreneurs to identify variables which may be related with success in small-medium scale business entrepreneurship in Batangas Province, and thereafter, analyzed the extent of influence with the indicators of entrepreneurial success.
