ABSTRACT: Various techniques have emerged in the construction industry to improve the quality of work while staying within the allocated budget and anticipated timeline. These Techniques do come with risks. The objective of this study is to develop a critical risk factors framework of Agile Project Management in mid-rise building projects. To achieve the research objectives, statistical tools such as Meta-Analysis, Pareto Analysis, and Analytic Hierarchy Process were utilized. The initial data garnered twenty (20) aspects and twenty-two (22) risk factors. Consequently, Pareto Analysis identified four (4) vital aspects and six (6) risk factors. The preliminary data’s findings were used to create a survey questionnaire. Quality deliverables and Customer satisfaction are the critical aspects of garnered after utilizing AHP. On the other hand, the critical risk factors garnered are the Design Issues, Budget Issues, and Project Scope Issues. According to the findings, customer satisfaction is the most vital aspect. Design issues were identified as the governing risk factor that influences the entire aspect after the assessment of critical risk factors. It is evident that a building project’s entire process, including its risks, must be anticipated. The developed framework will serve as a guide to the project managers and may act as a foundation or point of departure for additional research into the utilization of Agile Project Management in mid-rise building projects.
