EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The name “D’Solve Coffee” was carefully chosen to leave a lasting impact on consumers, capturing attention not only through its unique sound but also through its innovative essence. Inspired by the phrase “The dissolving coffee,” this name highlights a district experience------both the coffee and its sachet fully dissolve in hot water. Made from edible rice paper, our sachets aim to position D’Solve Coffee as a leader in sustainable coffee packaging. The concept draws inspiration from the iconic White Rabbit candy, which uses an edible rice paper wrapper, and emerged as a response to the pressing issue of plastic waste in Metro Manila, where clogged drains contribute to severe flooding. With our tagline, “From the Sachet to Sip, Coffee Perfection!” We promise a rich, premium taste alongside a product that cares for the planet. This feasibility study explores the potential of rice paper as a sustainable coffee sachet, meeting the rising demand for eco-friendly packaging. Its biodegradable, compostable, and edible qualities make rice paper a strong alternative to plastic, aligning with the edible packaging industry’s sustainability goals. D’Solve Coffee embraces this innovation, offering rice paper coffee sachets that appeal to environmentally conscious consumers. The brand will be accessible through its website and social media channels, with headquarters in Teresa, Santa Mesa, Manila, offering telecommuting options for flexibility. For distribution, a warehouse on San Miguel Avenue in Ortigas, Pasig City, will facilitate storage and efficient delivery across Metro Manila. To enhance brand presence, D’Solve Coffee plans to engage in events, pop-up shops, and eco-markets, drawing both consumers and potential investors to solidify its standing as a sustainable packaging pioneer. D’Solve Coffee is structured as a corporation, a model that allows for both limited liability protection and capital growth through the sale of shares, creating opportunities for expansion and product development. The leadership team includes Lian Ysabelle T. Gatbonton as CEO, who steers the company’s vision. Andrea Camille R. Lahay-lahay as COO, overseeing daily operations; Arvhin D. Mendoza as Operations Manager, ensuring efficiency; Ellah May Patricia Wamil as CMO, driving marketing strategy; and Jomar P. Daculan as Marketing Manager, leading campaign execution and audience insights. With a shared commitment to eco-conscious innovation and strategic leadership, D’Solve Coffee is positioned to make a meaningful mark in the coffee industry, delivering premium experience while promoting sustainable practices.
