ABSTRACT: KaPet is an advanced AI navigation mobile application designed to assist drivers in finding efficient routes within Intramuros. It faces common challenges, including the need to optimize fare-based timing to ensure fair pricing for both drivers and passengers, provide the shortest and most efficient paths to historical landmarks, and determine the correct route for navigating elevated areas. The study focuses on developing a user-friendly mobile application that offers transparent fare calculations using Linear Regression, allowing passengers and drivers to track and understand fare breakdowns. The study also incorporates a system that presents multiple route options to various historical sites within Intramuros, providing accurate predictions for travel time and distance using the Random Forest Regressor. Finally, the implementation of an AI-driven navigation app utilizing the A* Algorithm aim to optimize navigation through elevated routes within Intramuros, offering precise and dynamic directions that adapt to changing road conditions, ensuring smoother and faster journeys. By addressing the common challenge of navigation inefficiencies, KaPeT significantly enhances transportation efficiency within Intramuros, improves user satisfaction through transparency and reliability, and reduces travel time while promoting a more sustainable and effective transportation system in the area.
