ABSTRACT : As this study strongly suggests, sexually abused females can benefit from cinematherapy in various ways. The researchers administered cinematherapy on 15 sexually abused female residents of Virlanie Foundations, a non-governmental organization that has taken upon itself, among others, the task of taking care ofabused women. The researchers also took 15 other Virlanie residents as acontrolgroup whose members were given craftnaking lessons. Both groups were asked to take a pretest and postest of cattel's 16 personality Factors-Adult test. The results of the experimental group's posttest indicated significant changes in their self-esteem, emotiona stability, and socialbility. 56
