ABSTRACT : Academic year 2016 posts a great challenge in the Philippine educational system with the implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Program. With its speedy implementation, it has earned negative feedbacks from the general public due to the inadequacy of tangible or empirical support to the adminstration's claim that the dearth literature conducted in the country. It aimed at determining the curricular track preferences of Grade 9 learners of a private non-sectarian college in Cavite as inputs in educational planning and career guidance programs. It utilized descriptive research design and quantitative method in the presentationof data obtained in a census using researcher - made instrument and a retrieval of primary data. The total population is 57 comprising the two sections of Grade 9 enrolled for the school-year 2014-2015. The descriptive statistics mean, percentile and rank were employed in the attributes of the repondents and the track preferences. For the test of relationship, the Pearson's product moment Correlation was used while the t-test was utilized in determinig the significant difference between the track prefernces of male and female repondents. 56
