ABSTRACT : This review paper highlights the taxonomic approaches in the classification of spiders using morphological and molecular methods as to date in respect to selected families of infraorder araneomorpahe. Both methods may have advantages and disadvantages towards phylogeny. However, neither method would serve as a preferred approach for resolving the taxonomic impediment. Taxonomic cases are also presented along with this review to better understand the complex taxonomic obstacles of morphological and molecular findings in resolving the phylogeny of spider. 56
