ABSTRACT : The subgroups of triangle groups of index at most four have been derived and described using Conway's orbifold notation by De Las Penas and co-workers. In this paper, we elaborate on the district types of orbofolds of these subgroups and discuss the geometric and topological properties present in the orbifolds. The study on the subgroups of triangle groups is facilitated by the link between group theory and color symmetry theory. 56
