N2  - ABSTRACT:  	This thesis researches the perception of the TV Idol runners-up and winner towards education. This is relevant to the problem of teenagers leaving behind their education in favor of stardom. Contests such as Masayang Tanghali Bayan's TV Idol feature contestants between 13-19 years old. Most of them decide to drop their studies to give more focus on the contest.  	Home education program is suggested as a mean of learning to these actors despite of the hectic schedule in show business. This program provides learning to artists who do not have time to attend or university because of their career in the television industry.  	The overall aim of this study, therefore, is to encourage actors to pursue their education despite of their busy in sow business
