Psychology) - Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, 2018; 5 N2 - ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to explore the perspectives of two generations - Generation X and Generation Z on the topic of premarital sex. Interview guide questions were developed to gather information from 15 respondents of each generation. A face-to-face interview was conducted to collect the necessary information for the study. Using thematic analysis, the researcher analyzed and interpreted the gathered findings. By getting the influences behind their sentiments and beliefs, the researcher was able to identify its relation with their personal standpoint on the subject matter. Family and Educational Institutions were the highest contributors to their knowledge of premarital sex. With nuances of the issue explored, it showed that the majority of Generation Z was permissive while Generation X was not ER -
