The research intended to know the reasons why the youth engage in protesting, discover the outcomes of their activities and discuss if they responded to it negatively, positively or if it didn't bring any change at all. A semi-structured interview was conducted to 10 students from Bulacan State University, all the members of STAND BULSU. The research found out that the youth engage in protesting because they are calling out to the authorities to correct any mistakes that they had failed to see. Protests made the participants realize that their struggles aren't as big nor as heavy compared to the other people who are surrounding them. In this case, the youth abandoned their egocentric beliefs and engaged themselves into altruism and camaraderie. Families were able to understand to context of protest in maintaining social equality and its importance to keep the society at its equilibrium. As for academic, the youth were able to use their experiences on protest as an upper hand to furthermore develop their styles and dedicate their knowledge in order to help the masses. As for socialization, they were able to meet and interact with new people from different sectors of the society. In the end of this thesis, the researcher aims to open the minds of the readers and add to the debunking of the popular stereotypes that revolve around protesting ER -
