ABSTRACT: The research study, entitled Discovering the Influence of Personal Factors and Social Identities Shaping Workplace Inclusivity and Diversity at Fast Food Chains within SM City Manila, explores the interplay between personal factors, social identities, and workplace inclusivity and diversity in the fast-food industry. Employing a descriptive correlational method and a quantitative approach, the study utilized a structured survey questionnaire as the research instrument. Respondents, predominantly in the age range of 18 to 24 years, represented a diverse early-career demographic with varied gender, marital status, religious affiliations, educational backgrounds, and employment statuses. Social identities, particularly cultural backgrounds, religious affiliations, gender, and age played crucial roles in shaping diversity perspectives and influencing workplace interactions. The analysis of personal factors and their correlation with workplace inclusivity and diversity perceptions showed no significant relationships for extraversion, neuroticism, and openness to experiences, while agreeableness and conscientiousness exhibited weak negative correlations. The study underscores the importance of understanding the complex interplay between personal factors and social identity in shaping individuals' perspectives on workplace inclusivity and diversity. The findings contribute valuable insights for developing effective practices and policies to promote workplace inclusivity and diversity, not only in the fast-food industry but also in other organizations.
