ABSTRACT Knowing the factors helps to identify how they affect the preferences of the employees, as physical and online shopping have their own advantages, which is one of the reasons why this study focused on determining the differences in the level of preferences when it comes to shopping physical and online for employees of the Department of Labor and Employment. The study aimed to determine the significance of the difference between physical and online shopping concerning the preferences of the employees. Specifically, to answer multiple research questions concerning the demographic profile, the factors affecting their employees' preferences, and the level of employees' preference between physical and online shopping, the study also aimed to determine whether there is a significant difference in employees' preferences between physical and online shopping. The researchers applied a descriptive research design, which mainly involved the gathering of data through the use of survey questionnaires. The survey was conducted using simple random sampling, a type of probability sampling in which researchers randomly select respondents to answer the survey. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, weighted average mean, and a paired T-test In this study, the results showed that most of the respondents are 30 to 34 years old, and for gender, females had the highest frequency. The researchers also concluded that respondents most usually buy products are clothes. Then, most respondents are using two applications for shopping, and most of the respondents visit physical stores four times a month. Lastly, with the application of paired T-tests, findings in this study revealed that the level of employees' preference towards physical and online shopping shows a significant difference which physical shopping was more preferred by most employees.
