AU - ED - ED - ED - ED - SN - 2 PY - 2024///.46 CY - PB - KW - KW - 2 KW - 0 KW - 6 KW - 20 N1 - Business Research: (BSBA major in Financial Management) - Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, 2024; 5 N2 - Abstract The study titled Influence of the Aspects of Digital Banking Facility Services Compared to the Influence of the Aspects of Traditional Banking Facility Services on the Savings Pattern of Employees in Intramuros, Manila examined the influence between traditional and digital banking services to the savings patterns among employees. Using a quantitative methodology with a Correlation Research Design, while the qualitative methodology using a phenomenological research design. The research involved 190 participants with regular monthly incomes, selected through cluster sampling for demographic diversity. Key findings included a weak, positive correlation between traditional banking convenience and deposit frequency, but no significant impact on monthly savings, while digital banking convenience did not significantly correlate with either deposit frequency or monthly savings. Stability and security showed no significant correlations with deposit and withdrawal frequencies for both banking types; however, perceived security of digital banking significantly correlated with higher monthly savings. Demographic variables such as age and income level significantly impacted banking preferences and behaviors, with age influencing deposit frequency in traditional banking and income level correlating with deposit frequency in digital banking and withdrawal frequency for both types. Interviews revealed that respondents preferred digital banking for its convenience and specific services, perceived to positively influence monthly savings. While quantitative results showed no significant impact of convenience, security, and stability on savings amounts, interviewees highlighted these factors as important. The study suggests financial institutions tailor services to specific demographics to improve customer acquisition and retention, potentially influencing savings behavior. Future research should explore broader factors influencing savings patterns using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
