Abstract The study was based on the spending habits and personal budgeting of non-teaching personnel of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. This study attempted to give a thorough understanding of the variables that might have influenced respondents' spending habits and use of their personal budgeting. This research was intended to help the said respondents as well as the top management of PLM to make a way to address the problem with regards to the spending habits and personal budgeting of the non-teaching personnel. The Theory of Reasoned Action, put forth by Martin Fishbein and Icek Ajzen, served as the foundation for this study. Amidst the contradicting views and responses of the respondents on online shopping, the researchers sought to determine its factors on spending habits and personal budgeting. In particular, it responded to the following sub-questions (1) what is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, frequency of online shopping, monthly household income, products being purchased online, average online expenditures, and reasons for online shopping (2) What are the factors that influence the spending habits of non-teaching personnel on online shopping in terms of income level, personal preferences, social media influence, and convenience and accessibility (3) What are the factors that affect the personal budgeting of non- teaching personnel in managing their online shopping expenses in terms of individual financial literacy, decision making, attention to details, and smart shopping online (4) What is the relationship between spending habits and personal budgeting of non-teaching personnel of PLM on online shopping? This study utilized a descriptive correlation research design to find solutions to the stated issue in order to support and fulfill the study's goals. A variety of numerical data was collected as part of a quantitative research approach, and numerical patterns were explored using statistical tools like frequency distribution, weighted mean, ranking, and Spearman Correlation Coefficient. The data needed for this quantitative research was gathered in this study using a standardized survey questionnaire. It was distributed to the non-teaching personnel of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila who shopped online through in-person interactions.
