<br/><br/> ABSTRACT:    	Home for the aged serves as a residential home addressing the various needs of elderly residents to ensure their health and well-being. The institutions provide care to approximate family life to the abandoned elderlies. In the Philippines strong family ties are being practiced by the Filipinos, in which they still live with an elderly at home; and putting an elderly in a home for the aged institution is not widely acceptable.    	San Lorenzo Ruiz - Home for the  Elderly is one of the private institutions in the country that offers free service to the poor elders. The study on the experiences of the elderly and caretakers inside the said institution can be used to discuss the elder's insights and feelings and what proper care should  be provided for them.    	In line with this, this study entitled A Case Study on the Experiences of Selected Elderly of San Lorenzo Ruiz-Home for the Elderly and the Experiences of Its Staff and Caretakers: A Basis for Institutional Information Tool, generally aimed to determine the experience of selected elderly about the amenities or facilities and activities of San Lorenzo Ruiz - Home for the Elderly and the experience of its staff and caretakers in taking care of the elderly in terms of their physical, medical, emotional, and spiritual aspect.    	An institutional information tool in the end outcome of the study that features the different services that offers by the institution which distinguish the suitable care and assistance to our beloved elderly.    	In depth interviews were conducted among the elderly residing at San Lorenzo Ruiz-Home for the Elderly and the caretakers taking care of them to gather data. Also, insights from some government agencies were considered as validators for the data gathered.    	As a result of the study, the proponents of the study come up to the conclusion that San Lorenzo Ruiz Home for the elderly was able to provide the immediate necessities and assessment of their elderly, residents with the help of the institution's caretakers while having the required facilities and amenities that the elderly residents' need. Also, they were given enough attention and care in terms of their physical, medical, emotional and spiritual aspect by the said institution.    	The study recommends to conduct the study in other nursing home institution, private or public, to have a comparison of the amenities and services offer by such institution. Also, this could be a guide for qualification in putting up an institution that caters services for elderly.
