N2  - ABSTRACT:  	The Golden Ball Cactus (Notocactus leninghausii) and Lace Cactus (Mammilaria elongate), both quite widespread in the country were subjected for a phytochemical screening and identification of the components present, namely alkaloid, cardiac glycoside, anthraquinone, saponin, flavonoid, tannin and amino acid.  	Both fresh whole shoots were carried out by ethanolic extract and found out the components present were primary alkaloids and saponins. The flavonoids, anthraquinone, tannim, amino acid and cardiac glycoside were not seem on the series of tests performed.  	After experimentation and proving the presence of primary alkaloid and saponin, it can be concluded that with these bioactive substances, these bioactive substances, these plants can be used in the field of pharmacology
