ABSTRACT The research study sought to assess the Light and Sound Museum as a communication tool in preserving national history and its marketability to schools in Manila City and propose a public relations campaign for the institution. The researchers determined the museum's effectiveness in terms of its production and technical aspect, overall content, relevance to the curriculum for the courses History and Filipino, and its marketability in terms of affordability, accessibility, educational and entertainment value, and competitiveness. The researchers conducted crowded-in-one interviews and in-depth interviews to gather pertinent data. Triangulation was employed among members of the academe, experts and staff of the Light and Sound Museum. Which was conducted primarily in Manila City. The researchers concluded that the Light and Sound Museum is an effective communication tool in preserving national history though, there is still room for improvement. Moreover, it is marketable to schools in Manila City since it offers a holistic learning experience with high entertainment value. The researchers recommended the implementation of a low-budget public relations campaign that will heighten the awareness of schools in Manila City towards the Light and Sound Museum as a communication tool in preserving national history. Consequently, this will help increase the museum's marketability to schools in Manila City.
