Different species of migratory birds visit the sanctuary from April to September . It was declared as a sanctuary under the Municipal Council Resolution No. 51 on September 27, 2004 led by Mayor Jerry L. Pelayo . In connection, this study, entitled Potential and Viability of Candaba Bird Sanctuary as a Tourist Destination in the Philippines, generally aimed to determine the potentials as well as the viability of the site to become a tourist destination not just in Pampanga but in the Philippines. Barangay Visal, Dona Simang was chosen as the locale of the study since it is where the most of the migratory birds stay. Face to face interview with key resource persons was used in gathering data and these interviews were validated by experts from different government and private organizations. McNamara Six Points Factor was used as the model in the data analysis. This means that even if one factor is not applicable to the data gathered, it can still be used. As video was used as a medium to show the potential and viability of the Candaba Bird Sanctuary and present the process of bird watching as the major activity in the sanctuary ER -
