<br/><br/> ABSTRACT:  	Gastropods are one of the diverse invertebrates with size ranging from microscopic to microscopic. The greatest number of gastropod species thrives on rocky, muddy and sandy bottoms in the littoral and sub littoral. The marine forms can be found in mudflats, coral reefs and  mangrove swamps. The study focused on determining the gastropoda present in Brgy. Union, Libertad, Antique.  	Eight stations were established perpindicular to the shore measuring 100 meters with 10 quadrants. Gastropods were collected within the quadrat by hand picking and shovelling  for burrowing gastropod species. The sollected gastropods were stored in a freezer for 24 hours to easily obtain the organism inside. Afterwards, the shells were washed throughly with tap water nad soap. The shells were identified by its morphological characteristics.  	 A total of one hundred sixty three individual gastropods belonging to forty one species under twenty two families were collected. Cypraea annulus, Cypraea tigris, Nerita exuvia. Nassarius elegantissimus, and Angaria delphinus were observed to be widely distributed. Two families Strombidac and Neritidae, had the most number of species. The area is still rich in living gastropods and they are widely distributed, which indicates that the site has not yet been exploited.
