ABSTRACT: The study aims to develop a fuctional fire emergency response android application that can be used by residents in Manila City and its fire stations. Recognizing the constraints of current fire reporting apps, which usually serve only for monitoring after residents, and the delays due to the lack of a real-time information system, this study suggests a diverse solution. It intends to create an easy-to-use mobile app for instant fire reporting during emergencies, construct a centralized platform with object detection and data integration for immediate verification and sharing of information, and introduce location pinning functionality to ensure precise and easily accessible information for both responders and the public. This holistic approach aims to transform fire incident reporting, resulting in quicker response times and enhanced community safety. This study aimed to survey a number of Manila residents, firefighters, and IT professionals to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed mobile application. The researchers have a researcher-made instrument and interview questions with rating sheet surveys that were conducted in this research. Convenience sampling was utilized. The researhers employed statistical tools such as the five-point Likert scale to rate the functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, and reliability of FireAlert with classifications as strongly disagree, disagree, neutral, agree, and strongly disagree. This study has the potential to revolutionize emergency response by directly informing local residents and emergency services about the emergence of critical situations. Conventional methods, like emergency hotlines and specialized alert systems, can suffer from communication delays and require detailed verbal descriptions, hindering the speed and effectiveness of emergency response.
