AU - ED - ED - ED - ED - TI - : bases for empowerment programs SN - 2 PY - 0000///46 CY - PB - KW - KW - 2 KW - 0 KW - 6 KW - 20 N1 - Thesis (M.A.) -- Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, 2006.;A thesis presented to the faculty of the Graduate School of Arts, Sciences and Education, in partial fulfillment for the degree in Master in Family Science; 5 N2 - This research was purported to investigate the relationship of Personal Traits (Age, Sex, Educational Attainment and Occupational Status), Family Structure (limited to who raised the respondents), Level of Awareness towards Women Empowerment Programs and the Beliefs about Filipino Women. Social Workers of Non-Government Organizations, Local Government Units and students who took up Gender-Development subject in the Province of Albay were the respondents of this study. In this research using 84 respondents, results revealed that as far level awareness, almost all the respondents had awareness on the women empowerment agenda particularly on economic, political, legal rights. However, a low percentage of awareness on capacity- Building empowerment Programs was observed from this study. Additionally, the chi-square test results revealed that there was no significant relationship between gender, age, and family structure and the beliefs about Filipino women. However, significant relationship was computed on the occupational status and educational attainment of the respondents to their beliefs about Filipino women. Furthermore, it was likewise found out that there was no significant relationship between the level of awareness on empowerment agenda and the respondents' belief about Filipino women ER -
