The term debilitating was used both in the physical and psychosocial aspects. This study aimed to answer the ff. questions.: 1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of: 1.1 Age 1.2 Gender 1.3 Length of Caregiving 1.4 Relationship of PCG to the patient 2. What does the Primary Caregiver feel towards CPP? 3. What debilitating effects may arise from handling CP patients in terms of: 2,1 Physical Aspect 2.2 Psychosocial aspect 4. What PT implications may be drawn from the result of the study? This study used a descriptive-qualitative type of research. A total of 35 respondents were interviewed one on one with the following questions: 1. How do you feel about CP patients? (Ano and pakiramdam mo kapag nakakikita o nakasulubong ka ng mga pasyenteng may Celebral Palsy?) 2. What are the problems/concerns encountered in handling CP patients? (Ano ang mga karaniwang suliranin na nakikita mo sap ag-aalaga ng mga pasyenteng may sakit na Celebral Palsy?) 3. What are your suggestions to health care to better improve handling CP patients? (Ano ang mga maimumungkahi mong paraan upang higit na mapabuti ang pag aalaga sa mga pasyenteng may sakit na Celebral Palsy?) Open-ended questions were asked to the respondents regarding the physical and psychosocial effects that they have acquired due to handling their patients with celebral palsy. Leading questions were strictly excluded to the list of questions prepared by the researchers. The questions required the respondents to answer in a storytelling like manner. Filipino language was used as the medium of conversations. For validity and reliability purposes, researchers also manually wrote the information that they got, simultaneous with the recording. IBM SPSS Statistics 19 was used to get the frequency of age, gender, years of service and relationship of PCG to patient. In addition, frequency of physical and psychological debilitating effects was also noted using the same software.
