ABSTRACT: This study was conducted to assess the Reproduction Health Status of high school students in Manila which served as a basis for creating a school-based program. This study sought to answer the demographic profile of the respondent in terms of sex, monthly family income, parental support, and source of information; the level of knowledge and the extent of attitude of high school students regarding their Reproductive Health in terms of sexuality, HIV/AIDS, and contraception. The researcher tested the significant difference in the level of knowledge and extent of attitude in Reproductive Health of high school students when they are grouped according to profile and the significant relationship between level of knowledge and extent of attitude of the high school students regarding Reproductive Health. A descriptive research design was utilized in this study. In order to collect data, the researchers adapted and modified from University of California Health Oakland Teenagers Survey (HOT Survey) and World Health Organization Young Adult Fertility and Sexuality Study (YAFSS).There were a total of 314 respondents who answered the questionnaire. The findings revealed that in the profile of the respondents in terms of sex, majority of the respondents has Php 1,100-10-100. Also most of the respondents who live with their parents. On the sources of information regarding sexuality, most refers to friends, regarding HIV/AIDS and contraceptives, majority of the respondents use media. Also, the level of knowledge of the high school students in terms of sexuality and contraceptives is low. On the other hand, the level of knowledge of respondents about HIV/AIDS is high. Extent of attitude of respondents on openness to peers regarding sexuality, HIV/AIDS and contraceptives is high. When it comes to person in authority, the extent of attitude of the respondents with regards to HIV/AIDS, sexuality and contraceptives is low. Results suggest that there is no significant difference in the level of knowledge in Reproductive Health of high school student when they are grouped according to profile. Also, there is no significant difference in the extent of attitude in Reproductive Health of high school student when they are grouped according to profile. Finally results infer that there is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge and extent of attitude of the high school students regarding Reproductive Health. Based on the findings, a school-based program was developed.
