The study focused on the assessment of the current performance status of the high school department of Colegio de San Juan De Letran. It was conducted in the Colegio's community and its prospective clients. The researcher employed five-hundred twenty-five (525) respondents: seventeen (17) administrators, thirty-two (32) teachers, thirty-five (35) parents, two-hundred fifty four (254) high school students coming from the third and fourth year levels, one hundred fifteen (115) professionals working around the vicinity of Intramuros, fifty-two (52) alumni who did not send their sons to Letran, and twenty (20) alumni who are sending/sent their sons to study at Letran's high school department. The study was able to reveal that there is a significant relationship between the factors influencing the choice of Colegio de San Juan de Letran and the perception of the respondents. Similarly, it was also revealed that there are significant mean differences among the response of the respondents in their assessment of the current performance status of the High School Department of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran. The study employed the descriptive survey method utilizing the correlational design. The following statistical tools were used in the statement of data: percentage and rank, weighted mean and standard deviation, chi-square and F-test (analysis of variance). The t-statistical tools utilized the Statistical Program for Social Sciences. The study was able to disclose that there is significant relationship between the factors influencing the choice of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran and the perception of the respondents. Similarly, it also revealed that there are significant mean differences among the responses of the respondents in their assessment of the four-year performance status of the High School Department of the Colegio. From these results the study had brought about an awareness to the reality that all members of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran may realize that there are so much to be done to improve the school in all of its major concerns, despite of its historical heritage.
