It discussed the importance of such music in faith, rituals, and significant events such as marriage, birth, planting, harvesting, death, etc. of the Natives. It also showed some examples of such music and different kinds of indigenous musical instruments and their characteristics. It also tackled the cultural organizations' programs in promoting Philippine Indigenous Music. The significance of Philippine Indigenous Music to the Philippine culture and to the lives of every Filipino was emphasized through this study.
