N2  - ABSTRACT:  This directed study-Cooperative Online Shopping System, is one of the major applications of electronic commerce. The study shows that technology is really reaching its farthest end. Not only those on the urban areas can enjoy and be benefited by that technology. This study shows that e-commerce's online shopping system can also be implemented in other business organizations situated in remote areas like a cooperative.  The study focused on the development of an online shopping system for a cooperative, specifically Sorosoro Ibaba Development Cooperative which is one of the leading cooperatives in the Philippines located in the province of Batangas. The study also considered the present situation of the members who happen to be the target users of the developed system by allowing them to answer the survey questionnaires prepared by the researcher. The pursuance of the study was based from the result of the survey questionnaires. The researcher also analyzed the current situation of the cooperative in terms of their Information System infrastructure to know how the online system will be implemented.  The online system was developed using Visual Basic programming language for the administration program, Microsoft Access for the database, and Active Server Pager (ASP) for the storefront system. The researcher used the Internet Information Services to test the Online system. The researcher used the Rapid Application Development (RAD) prototyping method for the development of the entire online shopping system.  The system was developed primary to improve the current selling transaction of the cooperative, thus providing customer convenience and satisfaction. The system will be of great help to those members who don't have time to go to the cooperative and those members who are far from the vicinity of Batangas. Also, the system was developed to expose SIDC to the world market and to prepare the cooperative to be globally competitive
