Comprehensive Transportation Management System with driver performance evaluation using random forest algorithm - Capstone Project: (Bachelor of Science in Information Technology) - Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, 2025

ABSTRACT: Several public transportation services in the Philippines, including the Pandacan Transport Service Multi-Purpose Cooperative, still rely on paper-based records and basic tools, resulting in significant challenges in data management, operational efficiency, and driver performance monitoring. To address these issues, this study developed a Comprehensive Transportation Management System with Driver Performance Evaluation. By integrating advanced web technologies the system offers features for organized data management, real-time dispatching and an automated driver performance evaluation tool. The Random Forest Algorithm was implemented to ensure fair assessment of driver performance, providing an unbiased and data-driven approach. The Agile Software Development Methodology was utilized to foster iterative development and continuous improvement, ensuring the system met the evolving needs of the chosen client. The successful implementation of the centralized web-based Transportation Management System improved administrative operations by replacing outdated processes. The station-based Dispatch feature effectively minimized issues to manual radio communication, such as optimizing vehicle allocation. Meanwhile, the Driver Evaluation System provided precision, transparency, and improved decision-making. The results imply that the study introduced significant innovations to the Pandacan Transport Service Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
