Abstract: Before the pandemic, virtual on-the-job training was already established. Previous research has shown that this teaching method is appropriate and beneficial in specific courses, as it has helped students meet the prerequisites necessary to continue their college program. However, due to the pandemic, the government was compelled to advise educational institutions to organize online classes as an alternative method of educating students. Even courses that require a physical application for internships would be mandated to provide virtual internships. In this study, the researchers analyzed the level of effectiveness of virtual on-the-job training for students in hospitality management by evaluating previous research on the topic and analyzing survey responses from a subset of respondents. According to the researchers' findings, former Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management students at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Manila are satisfied with their virtual on-the-job training despite encountering numerous obstacles. Thus, the study concluded that virtual on-the-job training is indeed effective.
