ABSTRACT: In today’s digital and information age, vlogging seems to be increasing in terms of the amount of content published and the rise of vloggers on different social media platforms. Food vlogging is one of the most popular types of content published. This study aims to cover the topics regarding street food and vlogging and how unique a street food destination is in Manila. This study uses a thematic analytic approach to examine the stories created by international vloggers as they explore the varied street food scene in the vibrant metropolis of Manila, all set in an era dominated by digital media and cross-cultural interchange. The study also aims to identify the recurrent themes, cultural insights, and diverse viewpoints in these vloggers digital content. With that, ten (10) foreign vloggers were chosen in this study, where they vlog their whole trip, trying different street foods within the vicinity of the City of Manila. The study results have shown that all of the featured destinations are accessible through various transportation modes like jeepneys, tricycles, etcetera. At the same time, regarding the affordability of the food, the researchers concluded that all the street food mentioned was highly affordable, ranging from 1 dollar to ₱50 to 2 dollars or ₱100. Because of this makes Manila’s street food not only diverse but also accessible and economically inclusive. Moreover, most foreign vloggers publishing content about street food seem all the food selections. One of the vloggers, Tim Troetchel, stated his sentiments in his vlog that he is not somehow satisfied with the street food selections. Underlying factors such as preferences could be a factor in this study.
