ABSTRACT: Individuality and lifestyle is essential. The researcher underwent this study on the increasing number of single individuals in the Philippines. Most studies reviewed on stress focus more on levels of stress, stressors and coping mechanisms. Specifically, this study aimed to find out the following: 1.
What are the stressors of the Filipino single? 2.
What are the manifestations of the Filipino single on stress? 3.
What are their communal support groups? 5.
The environment or the people that surround the single individual is very important in one's existence and happiness. Single individuals perceived themselves as a lonely person because of what the society dictates. 2.
Single individuals are experiencing difficulties in managing their personal and family fiancés. The biggest obligation of the respondents which makes them stressful is the enormous financial responsibilities. 3.
The stressor related to society is the common stressor for the development of Enhancement Program for Social Flexibility. In the stressors related to society, Society perceived singles as less serious individuals became the basis for Enhancement Program for Happiness. In terms of manifestations of stress, financial related factor proposed the Enhancement Program for Financial Stability. Feelings of Inadequacy, served as the proposed Enhancement Program for Familial Support, On the self-management styles, Intellectual Styles proposed the Enhancement Program for Intellectual Styles. I try to engage in intellectual stimulations for psycho-social enhancement, developed the Enhancement Program for Self-Reflection. The communal support group having other colleagues as the lowest comprised the Enhancement Program for Communal Support Groups.
