<br/><br/>   ABSTRACT :  This article describes the social technology project implemented by the Deparment of Social Welfare and development (DSWD) to combat human trafficking, in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO). In this article, the National Referral System (NRS) on the recovery and Reintegration of trafficked persons and the national recovery and reintegration database (NRRD) were presented as these will serve as effective tools to help not only the DSWD but also the other agencies involved in the fight against human trafficking. The initial role played by the Social TechnologyBureau (STB) of the DSWD as the project proponent resulting from the effective partnership with concerned government agencies and NGOS were illustrated to indicate how a unified refferal system and the developed tools can contribute to faster and better service delivery for victims.
