Action note: In: Summary: ABSTRACT: The study determined the profile of the Values Education teachers in the Division of City Schools of Manila, in terms of their personal characteristics, educational qualification, professional experiences, performance rating and civil service eligibility. Other areas investigated were their role functions, the skills they possess, the training programs they have attended, the teaching methodologies they adopt and the criteria used in the selection of these teachers. Utilizing the descriptive method of research a questionnaire and unstructured interview were conducted, among 160 Values Education teachers and 24 school administrators from 12 selected schools in the city of Manila in the school year 1992-1993. The collected data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, weighted scores and ranking analysis. The results of the study revealed significant information which provide vital implications and serve as a strong basis to further improve the impact of Values Education program. Other editions:
