Action note: In: Summary: ABSTRACT: This study was conducted to assess the extent of manifestation of healthy lifestyle of the nursing students using the Areas of the Behavioral Wheel: Mental Health, Family and Social Health, Growth and Development, Nutritional Health, Physical Health, Control of Substance Abuse, Safety and First Aid, Disease and Disorder, Consumer and Personal Health, and Community and Environmental Health. And to identify the significant difference between the lifestyle of the respondents on the areas of behavioral wheel when grouped according to their demographic profile which are the gender, economic status, year level and the academic standing. The results of the study will be the basis for the College-Based Wellness Program. Stratified random sampling technique was utilized. Using the slovin's formula having a sample population percentage. Then systematic sampling technique was used, every 2nd student's list from level one to level four of the nursing students of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila as a respondents. The results of this study highlighted on the extent of manifestations of healthy lifestyle of the respondents on the areas of behavioral wheel. It focus on Nutritional Health, and Physical Fitness with weighted mean of 2.79, 2.85 with moderate extent of healthy lifestyle of the nursing with significance difference in gender and year level. The students must always understand and the informed about how their lifestyle would affect not only their health but also their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual area. That they must improve their habits and lifestyle, thus promoting a healthy living and preventing the development of debilitating disease through the College-Based wellness Program will be developed. The nursing faculty must have an interactive discussion either in the classroom or in the clinical area. It will help them determine the strengths and weaknesses of the students which is an important aspect in setting expectations by having a framework for wellness program and a faculty could be more specific in setting the students needs and limitation. The administrators must always be aware and understand better the importance of having a college-based wellness program for the school to produce more productive and outstanding students in the future.
