Methods: One hundred thirty-one graduating college students from the College of Science of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila aged 17 to 21 years old completed the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and Positive Thinking Scale (PTS). The researcher used SPSS to analyze the collected data, statistical tests such as Pearson correlation coefficient and Independent-Measures t-Test. Results: The p-value in examining the perceived stress level of male and female respondents is (p = .49) whereas positive thinking level is (p = .73) which indicates that there is no significant difference in the level of the variables among the respondents. The Pearson Correlation Coefficient for the two variables is ( r = -.63) which indicates a strong significant negative correlation between the two variables. | ||
