505 _aABSTRACT: The purpose of the study is to see the relationship of Self-esteem and Resistance to Peer Influence of Senior High School Students of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. The respondents of the study has a total of 284 senior high school students who were 142 STEM students, 105 ABM students and 37 HUMSS students. The instruments used for data collection were Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale and Resistance to Peer Influence Scale. Upon using Spearman Rho, this study confirms that there was a very strong correlation between two variables. The null hypothesis which states that there is no significant relationship between self-esteem and resistance to peer influence of PLM’s senior high schiool students was rejected. This study shows that most students have an average self esteem and high resistance to peer influence. With all of the findings that the researcher gathered, The researcher came up with a program to help students develop self assurance for those students with low self-esteem and low resitance to peer influence so that they would not be easily swayed by their peers.
