_b _b _c _aDEFINITION OF THE PROJECT E.C.O Horizon is not simply a green office building. It is the green office building of the future. Its eco-friendly construction, its community engagement and its optimal workspaces will certainly change the business norms in Quezon City; it is a work environment that is different from the conventional type of office building. Besides the fact that E.C.O Horizon is advantageous to its tenants, it also promotes health in the local areas and on earth beyond its tenants. HISTORY Quezon City is notable for its history, which reveals the story of the place undergoing changes throughout time. The area now called Quezon City was once composed of several smaller towns and barrios. Some of these include San Francisco del Monte, Novaliches, and Balintawak. These areas were part of larger municipalities like Caloocan and Marikina. (Presello Real Estate Group, 2020). In 1939, the second President of the Republic of the Philippines, Manuel L. Quezon, promoted the development of a new capital city for the country aiming to become the premier city of freedom. This outlook was partially due to the objective of decongesting Manila, the capital city at the time, and encouraging growth around the region. The city was intended to project the principles of nation and social justice, so that it can be understood spatially as the Filipino identity during a critical epoch in its history (Pante, 2017; Boquet, 2016). Such towns began to be gradually integrated within official boundaries on October Twelve, Nineteen Thirty-nine. However, to shift the government of the Philippines from Manila to the City took several years. President Elpidio Quirino on July seventeen nineteen forty-eight proclaimed Quezon City as the capital of the Philippines and defined its area as one hundred fifty- six point sixty square kilometers (sixty square miles). _u |
