505 _aDEFINITION OF THE PROJECT A 3-storey building with a roof deck consisting of storage units with 2 offices that will incorporate green improvements such as solar panels, a rainwater harvesting system and a garden. NAME OF THE PROJECT As Pampanga continues to develop, it displays predominant features like agricultural lands and producing raw materials, making this possible for various developments and opportunities for the location. Along with it, shall be the ability to adapt to human behavior especially in this modern age, where people seek convenience and accessible services. Pampanga has neighboring cities and is accessible from people in Metro Manila, with a travel time of 1 to 2 hours, depending on the day and time of the department. Minalin particularly consists of establishments and services that provide the basic needs of residents from shopping, commercial spaces, education, etc. With the continuous growth of internet usage and technology, online shopping now dominates most places in the Philippines, and with this thought, comes the concept of developing an establishment that can serve the public through accessibility and convenience, and by campaigning for sustainability by adding green improvements. The "Hatid-Kahon Logistics" will consist of 3 floors and a roof deck, having the first and second floor as storage units, and the 3rd floor being its office spaces. All floors will be for rent/lease and shall uphold the primary objectives which are accessibility for the people and provide sustainability whilst its operation. The name "Hatid-Kahon" derived from the Filipino word "hatid" which means to deliver and "kahon" which means box and the main objective of the project is to provide a storage or sorting stop for deliveries within Pampanga. The word "kahon" was also used as a metaphor which also reflects that the development opts for sustainability and green movement and shall also adapt with the overall aesthetic of the province.
