_aExecutive Summary Description of the Business Pastillas is a natural Filipino delicacy, a milk candy made from condensed milk, cow milk, Sugar, and/or powdered milk. According to Calara & Sevilla (2019), it is an integral part of our fo0d culture and one of the favorite sweet delicacies or desserts among Filipinos. These are smooth in texture, creamy, and shaped into a small cylinder which makes it easy to make and digest for an after-meal dessert. There are various versions of pastillas across the Philippines, many sell them as small business enterprises involving sweets and even freelance bakers which creates and sells them for extra income. Compared to other popular sweet products being sold by various local stores in the Philippines, pastillas are the easiest to make. It can be customized with different designs according to popular trends and the choice of the customers. Further, the ingredients are easy to find and can be modified if the business Considers offering low-sugar content pastillas to health-conscious consumers. It can also be a perfect gift for the consumers' loved ones, as a substitute for common gifts like chocolates and cakes. Hence, selling pastillas with creative designs has excellent potential in the market. Pastillarte is a small business that makes local sweets, to specifically create pastillas, into an eye-catching sugar-filled treat for everyone to indulge in. Our creativity will play a role in the creation of the sweets as the pastillas will contain a unique design to separate them from the normally cylindrically made pastillas. A similar business has created pastillas with unique designs such as animals and sushi that earns over 300k per week (VisMin) which proves that this type of business can be successful in this post-pandemic economy. What sets apart Pastillarte's pastillas from the existing competition is in its creative designs and variety of flavors. Our design involves two: inspiration from pop culture trends such as K-pop, anime, and tv series, and a seasonal rotation in accordance with holidays and celebrations such as Christmas, New Years, and Valentine's Season. With the current trajectory of the global economy due to various factors concerning health and geopolitics, prices of many commodities are expected to rise further, paired with the high inflation rate that makes starting a small business a risky venture. However, despite the many risks, it is expected that the sugar confectionery in the Philippines will likely record a return to both value and volume growth following two consecutive years of decline (Euromnonitor International), forecasted to 2026. Pastillarte will be established in its physical location in 718 Laong Nasa St., Tondo, Manila where the production of pastillas happens. The business will serve as a supplier of the product to a variety of coffee shops around the Manila area. In line with that, pastillas will be a complementary product or delicacy as customers purchase drinks from the coffee shops. This strategy will boost the brand of Pastillarte as a partnership or collaboration from various coffee shops with an agreement and a contract to discuss. The products will be delivered from each coffee shop and online platforms such as Facebook that can be utilized to promote Pastillarte in the market
