_aExecutive Summary a. Marketing Feasibility In the marketing aspect of the paper, the proponents discussed the marketing strategies such as the selection of target markets and analyses on the national demand and supply of milkfish for the Fishko Fishermen Cooperative to be competitive in the industry. The proponents considered the market demands for milkfish ensuring that their product can be purchased wholesale and that the product is fresh and of good quality based on the standard and needs of the clients. The proponents chose to establish their business in Laguna de Bay in Barangay Looc, Cardona seeing that the place is accessible and has a clean environment. In addition, the fish produced by Fishko Fishermen Cooperative will be marketed at the Cardona Fish Port. The proponents are certain of the profitability and feasibility of the milkfish cultivation for the reason that the management ensures that they provide everything that the clients need, ensuring that it is affordable and safe for consumptions. d. Technical Feasibility In the technical aspect of the paper, it states there that the milkfish can be cultivated within 3-4 months, growing up to a range of 8 to 16 inches, with a weight ranging from 250 to 500 grams, respectively. Since the proponents considered the pen capacity, weather, conditions, anticipated demand, predicted mortality, and available capital, it is estimated that every year the farmers will harvest 20-tons of milkfish; given that operations will continuously occur every day. Since the area rented is in Laguna de Bay at Barangay Looc, the machinery and equipment needed are fish pen enclosure and barriers, nets, motorboat, feeder pails, and a truck. The supplies needed on the other hand are the fingerlings, gas for the boat engine and truck, pellets, and basins, and ice blocks. As for the utilities, the proponents prioritized the potable water for personal consumption and sanitary purposes, electricity for operations on the grounds, and for operating appliances. Hence the expenses are not as expensive as manmade pens, making it possible to allocate the majority of the capital on the production, thus making the study feasible. e. Management Feasibility The proposed business will be in the form of a cooperative. Fishko Fishermen Cooperative is a people-centered enterprise and is owned by the members who share equal voting rights in this democratic organization. The overall operations of the Fishko Fishermen Cooperative will be supervised by the owner and will hire two (2) laborers living near the fish pen in Barangay Looc to be on lookout for potential dangers of the entire fish pen and nurture the milkfish fingerlings. The cooperatives will also ensure its compliance to the rules and regulations set by the government agencies such as the Cooperative Development Authority, Laguna Lake Development Authority, and Bureau of Internal Revenue. To certify the feasibility of the milkfish cultivation, the proponents ensure that the Fishko Fishermen Cooperative is a responsible and law-abiding cooperative in the community. e. Financial Feasibility In the proponents' financial feasibility, the initial cost of the project amounts up to Php 2,295,000, where 80 percent of this is funded by the Landbank's Sustainable Aquaculture Lending Program (SALP), which amounts to Php 2,361,600. In terms of the supply Milkfish in the Cardona Fish Port (CFP), the proponents were able to create a 5 year prediction. With these considered, the projected net income for the next 5 years is: Php 524,500, Php 956,175, Php 1,592,108, Php 2,504,436, and Php 3,797,250. The projected financial position for the cooperative is Php 3, 509, 000, Php 4, 4665,175, Php 6,057,283, Php 8,561,709, Php 12,358,958. On the otherhand, the ratio analysis for the Asset Turnover shows that the cooperative can generate 68.40, 70.55, 68.25, 63.38, and 57.63 percemt of the assets into sales from years 2021 to 2025. The profitability ratio shows 21.83, 30.35, 38.51, 46.15, and 53.32 percent of profitability for the shareholders. The return of asset ratio shows that Fishko is profitable by 14.93, 23.98, 34.26, and 36.30 percent relative to its total assets for the next 5 years. The discounted payback period, considering the net present value of the cash inflow, will take about 2 years and 8 months to recover the funds expended in the investment. And the internal rate of return with the use of a financial calculator is 48.884 percent affirming that the proposed milkfish cultivation of the cooperative is profitable and feasible. e. Socio-Economic Feasibility The proposed project aims to innovate the milkfish cultivation that will result in increase overall produce since Milkfish is one of the main aquaculture products of the country and will also help alleviate poaching activities by providing income opportunities and affordable fish produce to the coastal people and rural communities. This is one of the major social impacts of the proposed milkfish cultivaition. Fishko Fishermen Cooperative also sees to it that proper waste management is observed to protect the environment while running the business smoothly through abiding by the laws and regulations set by DENR. Overall, the proposed project is feasible given that the proponents considered the interest of the community and the environment without compromising the risks for negative social and environmental impacts affirming the project's sustainability.
