_b _b _c _aABSTRACT The standard of living refers to the basis of well-being that is conveyed in a level of consumption of an individual. Households that are able to provide for their minimum basic indicators in accordance with the Asia Development Bank (ADB) and icome profiling patterned from the Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA) were determining factors to explore the in-depth microeconomic and descriptive analysis of their standard of living. This study assessed the monthly consumption expenditures and standard of living of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Business School residing in Metro Manila and correlated the data collected to Asian Development Bank and Philippines Statistics Authority, essential for creating a policy review that evaluates the current situation and current health of the community. As such, 79 PLM Business School students of different programs were smapled. Majority of the respondents' households spent a monthly expenditure of Php 9,999 and below in communication while education garnered the highest amount of monthly expenses. In addition, alcohol and tobacco have a high percentage of the monthly expenditure of Php 3,499 and below. Whereas the respondents have a larger amount to spend on communication while education and saving money have the highest allocation of monthly expenditure. The results showed that the data gathered for consumption items from the PLM BS community slightly affects the consumption items from 2018 FIES. A T-test demonstrated that there is no sufficient sample evidence to reject the claim that there is no significant difference between the annual family income of Metro Manila collected by PSA and the estimated annual family income of the PLM Business School Household.
