_b _b _c _aIntroduction Generation Z is the newest batch of generation to enter the workforce, they are also labeled as the great resignation generation. (Agarwal, 2018). Generation Z tends to quit, and job hop more than the older generations. With that, it is a problem for companies and their human resource departments to retain employees. Lower retention rate means higher cost for the companies and more work for human resources. This problem of low retention rate among Generation Z employees needs to be solved in order to minimize the costs of companies while maximizing the workforce. This study aims to determine the factors influencing the job satisfaction of Generation Z employees and its effect on their retention. The researchers will use the framework of Herzberg's two factor theory and integrate the job satisfaction survey of Paul Spector to determine which are the factors that affect the Job Satisfaction of Generation Z and if it does have an effect in their retention. This study can help BPO companies and their human resource departments to increase the retention rate of Generation Z employees among their respective companies. _u |
