_aAbstract The continuous advancement of digital technologies has significantly transformed and developed the delivery of financial services, particularly in the insurance sector. The adoption of digital technology is prevalent among the concerned entities, driven by their intention to improve their delivery efficiency and develop their overall business operations. This research paper explored the correlation between the level of awareness and perception towards digital insurance of policyholders in the City of Manila. Moreover, this paper measured the level of awareness and perception towards digital insurance of policyholders through various aspects such as usefulness, ease of use, subjective norms, risk, and trust. The null hypothesis of this study states that there is no significant relationship between the level of awareness and perception towards digital insurance of policyholders in the City of Manila. The study utilized a mixed methods research design and encompassed both quantitative and qualitative approaches, which were selected to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter by combining numerical data gathering and in-depth insights from interviews. The locale of this study focused on the City of Manila, which was chosen for its abundance of insurance companies and high usage of digital technology. A sample size of 250 policyholders of life insurance was identified collaboratively by the researchers, statisticians, and panel. The samples were selected using the purposive random sampling technique to ensure unbiased and credible results, with less emphasis on achieving representativeness. Primary data was gathered through key informant interviews and survey questionnaires. For the statistical treatment of the survey, the Percentage, Frequency Distribution, and Ranking were used to analyze the survey responses, specifically focusing on the demographic questions in the initial section of the survey questionnaire. In assessing the level of awareness and perception among policyholders, the researchers employed mean as the statistical treatment. The Spearman correlation coefficient was also used to measure the relationship between the level of awareness and perception toward digital insurance of policyholders. Furthermore, a thematic analysis was conducted to analyze the pattern in the key informant interviews. The results showed that the majority of respondents used digital devices multiple times a day, with Facebook being the most popular and frequently used platform, followed by YouTube and Google, primarily for entertainment purposes. The findings also highlighted a high level of awareness of digital insurance among policyholders. Furthermore, policyholders perceive digital insurance positively, considering it useful, easy to use, and trustworthy. However, addressing technical errors and personal information security was crucial to improving neir perception of risk. Policyholders also placed less emphasis on subjective norms when makina decisions about digital insurance. Supporting the findings, Mr. Sauz, a key informant, emphasized the benefits of online insurance platforms, including their ease of use, and quick access to information, plans, and quotes without any cost. Correspondingly, Ms. Javier also highlighted the usefulness and ease of use of digital insurance for both entities and prospective clients. Generally, the study found a substantial relationship and a moderate correlation between the level of awareness and perception of policyholders in the City of Manila. Also, it generally resulted in a p-value of less than 0.05 that led to the rejection of the null hypothesis. Moreover, the level of awareness of policyholders on digital insurance had a positive correlation with how useful, easy, and trustworthy they perceive the use of digital insurance. Conversely, subjective norms and perceived risk were found to have a slight correlation with their level of awareness. Policyholders were generally found to be very aware and have an adequate amount of trust yet are still concerned about any potential technical errors and security-related issues that may arise as to the use of digital insurance. These results underlined the importance of strengthening awareness and addressing existing clients' concerns, which are vital for the continuous development of the delivery of insurance products and services.
