_aABSTRACT: This study aimed to determine the factors affecting the academic performance of fourth year accountancy students which may help for the betterment of the students and teachers alike. The study may benefit the students by allowing them to understand better the factors that can affect their academic performance so when time comes they will have enough knowledge on how to cope with this. They may be able to improve their academic performance with the findings that are established by this study. The researchers used a quantitative-descriptive design. Self-reporting questionnaire was used for data gathering. Average weighted mean was used to determine the level of impact of the different factors affecting the respondents academic performance. Base on the results conducted, the teacher-related aspect, school-related aspect, study habits have a high impact on the academic performance and the personal condition and home-related aspect have a low impact on the academic performance.
