_aABSTRACT: Klingsieck (2013) stated that good things don't come to those who wait. With the aim of assessing the dilatory behaviour of 1st year to 4th year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy students of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila for the academic school year 2016-2017, this study conducted by students from BS Accountancy 4th year level block 3, made use of Klingsieck's Seven Parameters of Delay. This parameter was use to formulate a 7-part, 14-item questionnaire which was used to conduct an interview to selected student of BS Accountancy from 1st to 4th year level. A total of 24 respondents, 6 coming from each year level, were asked to participate in the study. The response of the participants revealed the factors influencing their dilatory behaviour. The study also showed the roles motivation and volition play on the students decisions to delay certain task.
