_aABSTRACT: There is a necessity for a compilation of local crises in the academe. Foreign case studies such as the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill or the Tylenol Scare have always existed inside the classrooms, fragmenting the fact that the students would understand and relate more if these would have been of local samples. A large number of communication and business students will work for corporate entities someday, and these companies have had, or will have crisis one day. This is difficult truth for all corporations. A crisis can make or break a corporation; it can sustain or ruin the reputation of a company which was built for years. The importance of crisis management is so much essential that learning it from localized case examples is recommended. For this study, a total number of 36 local crises from the top corporations of seven identified business industries are discussed. The researchers used qualitative research and purposive sampling procedure. The top crisis business industry is identified and analyzed. The study is completed through the McNamara Six Point Scale. Recommendations and additional viewpoints are done through content analysis and in-depth interviews from the business representatives and crisis management experts of PR practitioners are provided for each top crisis. This study is a mixture of successful and failed crisis management. These corporations handled their crises in varying ways, producing a wide array of strategies.
