_b _b _c _aABSTRACT: The pursuit of strong encryption techniques continues in the field of secure communication despite constantly changing threats. Many encryption techniques were updated frequently to protect users and their confidential messages against cyberattacks; one such technique is the two-square cypher, which was enhanced in security by being paired with columnar transposition. This combination was further improved for increased security in this study, which is only limited to the characters included in the dataset. Emojis and other characters that are not present will be ignored in the encryption process. First, the proposed algorithm's character set was increase to 196 in order to improve usability. These characters are based opn ASCII characters, which can be used to relay messages. Other characters, such as shapes that are not normally used or cannot be used in communicating and are available on ASCII, were not included. Second, the insertion of one character when plaintext consists of odd-numbered characters was expanded from a specific character only to a multiple-character choice, which includes additional special characters to prevent guessing of the character in the encrypted message. Third, the process of inserting a random character based on the user-input was changed to rearranging the tables to preserve data integrity. As a result, the suggested approach produced better outcomes (averages of 0.3905520005 and 0.6219345641) in the monobit test and arithmetic mean test than the original combination of encryption algorithms. Fourth, the integrity of the results were preserved as the orginal system's answer can be manipulated.
