_aAbstract: This descriptive - correlational study was conducted to determine the faculty awareness, commitment, and job performance and their relationship to instruction, research and extension using a researcher-made instrument which was subjected to validity and reliability tests. The respondents were the faculty of the 6 institutes of FEU Morayta and FEU-FERN College who have rendered three years of service drawn on a convenience sampling. The null hypothesis on significant differences among the six groups were subjected to Levene's test of homogeneity, univariate ANOVA, Welch F test, Scheffe Post Hoc Test, and Games-Howell Post Hoc Test, while the null hypothesis on significant relationship that existed in the three variables (pairwise) was processed employing the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The findings of the study are the following: 1. The overall levels if awareness of the faculty - respondents in the following variables are: (a) vision- high; (b) instruction- moderate; (c) research - low; and (d) extension - moderate. 2. The levels of commitment of the faculty - respondents in the following variables are as follows: (a) vision - high; (b) instruction - high; (c) research- moderate; and (d) extension- moderate. 3. The levels of performance of the faculty- respondents in the following variables are: (a) instruction -average; (b) research - below average; and (c) extension- below average. 4. At 0.05 level of significance, significant differences were found in: (a) awareness in research; (b) awareness in extension; (c) commitment to vision; (d) commitment to instruction; (e) commitment to extension; (f) job performance in instruction 5. At 0.05 level of significance, a negligible correlation was established in awareness in extension versus job performance in extension, and low degree correlation was evident in commitment in research versus job performance in research. Based on the aforementioned findings, the following recommendations are proposed: 1. The action plan proposed by this study should be implemented to enhance faculty engagement in research and extension. 2. An intervention must be made to increase the awareness and commitment of faculty members to the vision-mission by (a) Articulation during faculty assemblies; (b) More posters in prominent areas and faculty rooms; and (c) Requiring the faculty to orient their students about vision-mission at the beginning of the semester. 3. A committee must be created to review the statement on vision and the mission statement for research which were found to be broad and vague respectively. 4. The instruments crafted by the researcher that measure performance in research and extension may be used by the University and other schools to gauge teacher's performance in these areas. 5. A parallel study may be conducted in other schools to determine if there is a correlation among awareness, commitment, and job performance.
